Antonio Izquierdo
Performer
I began dancing funk–hip-hop, earning awards such as runner-up in Spain in the Junior category, runner-up in Spain in the Professional category, and first prize at the international Mc Hip-hop Contest. I obtained the Funk–Hip-Hop instructor certificate from the Orthos school in Barcelona.
I trained in dance, singing and theatre at the musical theatre school Cocomin in Barcelona.
I hold a Professional Degree in Contemporary Dance from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
In the 2011 edition of the Inund’Art Festival in Girona, I presented, in collaboration with the artist Mei Arnella, the piece 7despai, which won the festival’s first prize for performing arts.
As a dancer and choreographer, I have created and performed several pieces such as San San Kudo, Nadie quiere mirarnos a los ojos, Hi ets, ara? and And19, premiered at festivals including Nun Off 2011 and La Torna del Grec in Barcelona, and the 2012 edition of the El Sismògraf Festival in Olot.
Dance companies
I have worked with various dance and dance-theatre companies, both national and international.
With the French company Orianthéâtre, I received an award for best performance at the PUF 2013 Festival in Croatia.
















Dance Film

Films, TV and Commercials
I performed as a dancer in the Disney movie The Cheetah Girls 2, choreographed by Maite Marcos, as well as in the French film Les Derniers Jours du Monde, choreographed by Roberto Oliván.
